Modernizing a 100 Year Old Company’s Digital Presence.
The Challenge.
In an ever changing, fast paced digital world, many companies face the intimidating challenge of closing the gap between traditional marketing efforts and new digital approaches to stay competitive and relevant.
My challenge was just that … how do I take a long standing, primarily B2B manufacturing company and elevate the brand across new, customer facing digital territories?
The Execution.
A strong understanding of the brand’s guidelines, voice and playbook was critical in designing a cohesive set of digital assets and templates that could be used across sites. Using bright, new product photography gave the brand a fresh look. I was very intentional with typography styles to emphasize product features and I illustrated custom icons and badges to further highlight competitive advantages and break down information into more tangible pieces.
The Results.
The completion of this project ended in a comprehensive suite of polished digital assets for every product category that included infographic templates, iconography and rich content that could be translated across websites, retail and e-commerce sites for a cohesive customer journey. Specifically, these assets were used for products listed on sites such as Amazon, Home Depot and Wayfair. Below is a collection of live examples including Amazon A+ Content and Home Depot rich content. These digital content additions contributed to an annual sales growth of over 25% improved conversions and increases in average order value. The company was also recognized by Home Depot as a best-in-class partner for exemplary rich content.
